JIESTAR at Mir Detstva 2023 in Moscow

Mir Detstva 2023 is where this chapter of our international exhibition journey begins. From September 26 to 29, the JIESTAR team welcomed visitors to booth 23A81 at Moscow's EXPOCENTRE Fairgrounds, surrounding the stand with the products, packaging, and finished models that defined our building block range at the time.

The single photograph preserved from the show captures the booth almost as a complete panorama. Our company name runs across the top of the stand, while shelves wrap around the space below. The JIESTAR and iBlock identities are visible among a broad collection of boxed sets and assembled builds. It is a straightforward trade-fair scene, but it says a great deal about the way we wanted to introduce the brand: not through one hero product alone, but through the breadth of ideas that can be created with building blocks.

A wall built around the range

Across the booth, vehicles, mechanical subjects, buildings, display pieces, and smaller creative sets appear side by side. Some models are placed directly in front of their packaging, giving visitors two views at once: the promise communicated by the box and the physical character of the completed build. Larger packages create strong visual anchors, while smaller sets fill out the shelves and show how different product directions can work together.

For our team, this kind of display was an opportunity to make the JIESTAR world tangible. A catalogue can introduce an item clearly, but an exhibition stand lets people step back, scan an entire range, and then move closer to the model that catches their attention. Details such as silhouette, colour, model scale, and shelf presence become immediate. The booth also created a natural place for conversations about the interests of different markets and retail channels.

Meeting Moscow face to face

Mir Detstva has long brought together professionals from the children's goods and toy industries. The official organiser report confirms that the 2023 edition took place at EXPOCENTRE from September 26 to 29. For JIESTAR, being present at booth 23A81 meant putting our name, our products, and our approach in front of visitors in a focused industry setting.

What remains most vivid in the photograph is the completeness of the stand. There is no empty showroom styling and no attempt to hide the working nature of the event. The shelves are full, the tables are ready for closer review, and the whole space is organised around seeing and discussing products. It reflects the practical energy of a fair where a first glance can lead naturally to a detailed conversation.

This 2023 appearance also gives useful perspective to our later exhibition stories. In the years that followed, our stands became more varied in scale and presentation, and our travels continued through Jakarta, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Ho Chi Minh City, Shenzhen, Bangkok, and back to Moscow. The foundations, however, are already visible here: clear brand identification, real finished models, and a wide range presented in one place.
